Skateboarding

HOOOOOOOOON //

One thing we've always tried our best to do is to stock a sheet load of homegrown, local companies.  HOON  has been around (hoon runs) and the new wood they've got coming through is the real deal.

The first series sold out, and if you ask around, you'll hear awesome feedback about them.  Finally we got our shit together, and the new GOURMET series is on the shelves!  Three board series, the usual suspects in Cuzza and Dorfus and the bro model, Mumford.

Loving the artwork by ANDY MURPHY too, suss his site for more.  Dorfus below.  Word is the man behind the beard will be back in Australia real soon too...

We want to send out a big thanks to JIM and Cuzza for the opportunity to have these boards, when you're around next there's a fridge full a beer raring to go lads.  Cheers!

ANTIHERO x DICKIES //

A long time coming for sure - this collaboration between ANTIHERO and DICKIES is a dope match.  Clean, simple designs, solid quality throughout.  Get a van, pitch a tent, road trip the hell of this gear.

Classic Dickies 874 work pant, with Antihero design details, plus they're cheaper than regular Dickies, just cool as shit.

Plus some more winter apparel Antihero style - "its the wood" crew, the basic patch beanie and some truckers.

LOCALS REPRESENT - DYLAN //

There's a heap of cool words floating around to describe someone who can skate.  You'll use a few of those during and after watching this clip.  Mind you this shit is only some of his park stuff that's been filmed over the past while...wait till you see the raw street footy.

Dylan shows no fear, has always been down for us, and we're stoked to see him enjoying his skating so much.  Hell yeah Delam!  Once again, props to Matt Nissen for the magic behind the lens.

Matt's always down for us putting clips on the site, especially for this Locals Represent thing we're doing - but this is just clips, and we're down for anything, photo's, bands, artwork, it doesnt matter, its just got to be creative.  So put the seriousness aside for a bit and get out their a do some shit!

LOCALS REPRESENT - FLETCHER //

We decided that we wanted to represent local creativity, and with the new community blog, we wanted to post up anything to do with creative local dudes.  If you take photo's, draw pictures, make clips, anything creative, we want to know about it.  Plus if we're stoked on it, we'll hook you up something to say "hell yeah!".

Fletcher is a rad skater, has a unique style and he's a good dude.  Having all of the above are rarities, so we're stoked to see it in these clips.  Grove local, Matt Nissen put this clip together out of leftovers from his full length coming out soon - and its quality on all fronts.  Plus a minute with Fletch at Hallets.

Props to Matt and Fletch - for more clips head to matt's youtube.
